backup and restore cassandra db while changing time in the past between operations

Anyone experienced backup and restore database actions with cassandra with time set to the past between backup and restore?

I tried this:

  1. backup a keyspace via nodetool snapshot
  2. export keyspace schema to file
  3. drop keyspace from db
  4. set time to the past, e.g. 2 hours
  5. import schema from point 2. As a result I get inconsistencies in db: desc keyspace shows the keyspace as being available but running *select * from my_keyspace.my_table * gives error that keyspace does not exist. I know cassandra is sensitive in terms of time change, however I have a k8s cluster with cassandra db pod and my app pod in which it is required to allow the user possibility to change the system time. Thanks
